When we first got our dedicated server, which was mainly planned for TeamSpeak and games servers we decided that we should install Shoutcast.
The reason being is that anyone with Winamp and the Shoutcast plugin can stream any MP3 they want and at the quality they wish.
The main advantage of this is that anyone can tune in! (with the appropiate password) and enjoy CD quality streaming.
Edward and Simon created a very nice website that lets you listen using the embedded player.
You can tune in to our radio community by visiting ccukradio.com.
To listen, you can either use the website or open Winamp or Windows Media Player.
Winamp: press CTRL + L and put in "http://www.ccukradio.com:port/listen.pls". EG: http://www.ccukradio.com:10010/listen.pls.
Windows Media Player: click on File > Open URL and put in "http://www.ccukradio.com:port".
